The Yuzi Drybag is an ultralight dry bag and the only product in the Yuzi range built as a sealed, watertight bag. Every other Yuzi backpack and bag is water-resistant, meaning it handles rain for a limited time. The Drybag keeps water out when the top is rolled correctly.
The difference is in the closure. There is no zipper, because every zipper has gaps. The top is rolled down three to four times and then buckled, and the roll presses the main compartment shut. With too few rolls, water can still get in, so rolling it properly is essential, not a detail.
The seams are heat-welded instead of stitched. Stitched bags always have needle holes that let water seep through, while a heat-welded seam is one continuous piece that does not peel over time. The opening is reinforced with Hypalon, since it takes the most stress from repeated rolling.
The bag comes in two sizes. The 6 L weighs 50 g (1.8 oz) and holds a phone, power bank and wallet on day treks. The 12 L weighs 65 g (2.3 oz) and fits clothing and a towel for a three- to four-day trip. Many customers buy both to keep electronics apart from clothing. Colors vary by production batch.

How well does it keep water out?
It is watertight when the top is rolled three to four times and buckled. It is the only Yuzi product built as a sealed bag; all other Yuzi backpacks and bags are water-resistant only.
How should it be rolled?
Fold the opening down three to four times in the same direction, press it flat, then clip the two buckle ends together. With fewer than three rolls, the opening is not fully sealed and water can get in.
Should I choose the 6L or the 12L?
The 6 L is for electronics such as a phone, power bank and wallet on day treks. The 12 L is for clothing and larger items on a three- to four-day trip. Many customers buy both to keep electronics and clothing apart.
What colors are available?

Does the bag float?
When sealed, the air trapped inside helps it float. It is not a flotation or life-saving device and should never be used as one.
