The Yuzi SpineFit 25L hiking backpack is the only model in the Yuzi range with a torso length that adjusts by up to 9 cm (3.5 in), so the pack fits the wearer instead of forcing the wearer to accept a fixed size.
When the back panel matches torso length, the load settles onto the hips where it belongs instead of hanging from the shoulders. This eases pressure on the spine, improves balance and reduces shoulder and neck fatigue over long distances. The adjustment range suits people from 150 to 175 cm (4'11" to 5'9") tall, so one pack can be shared within a family or a group of friends.
The support system uses Multi-Density LifeSpan EVA foam — layered EVA with different levels of firmness, combined with channelled airflow foam. The firm layer holds the shape and transfers load; the soft layer against the body adds comfort. Compared with a rigid frame, the EVA system keeps the pack at around 900 g (2 lb) while holding its shape at the recommended 10 kg (22 lb) load.
Pockets are laid out by how often they are used: a cross-style trekking pole holder for grabbing poles on the move, two large hip belt pockets for a phone and energy gels, a stretch mesh front pocket for a layer just taken off, and two side mesh pockets with compression straps. A light attachment loop and a reflective loop help with visibility on early starts and late finishes. How much can it carry, and for how many days?
The recommended maximum load is 10 kg (22 lb), suited to day hikes or 1–2 day treks. For self-supported 2–3 day trips with more gear, the Yuzi Usual 40L is the better choice.
Does it come with a rain cover and a hydration bladder?
A backpack rain cover is included. A hydration bladder is not — the hydration sleeve has a hook-and-loop closure and fits the Yuzi Fresh 2L.
How does EVA support compare with a rigid frame?
Multi-layer EVA is much lighter than an alloy frame, keeping the pack at around 900 g (2 lb) while holding its shape at 10 kg (22 lb). In return, it cannot carry loads as heavy as the rigid frame of the Usual 40L.
