The Polyester Diamond 600D fabric resists water at fabric level, but the YZ20 uses standard YKK® zippers, so water can still get in through the zipper line in heavy rain. For frequent rain, choose a Yuzi model with water-resistant YKK® zippers, such as the Urban Essential in YUGRID™ fabric. Do not submerge.

The Yuzi Casual Backpack YZ20 is a 16 inch laptop backpack with 20 L of capacity and a weight of about 900 g (2 lb), built for professionals and students who carry a 14 to 16 inch laptop every day. At 44 × 31 × 14 cm (17.3 × 12.2 × 5.5 in), the main compartment has room for a jacket, a lunch box and notebooks next to the laptop, with no need to carry a second bag.
The laptop sleeve is lined with fleece from Yoo Sung Vina®. The soft fleece wraps around the laptop shell and limits the fine scratches that smooth foam padding cannot prevent. A 15.6 or 16 inch laptop has a wide back panel that rubs against the sleeve every time it goes in and out, so this lining makes a visible difference after a few months of use.
The main compartment opens wide and is split into two sections: one for the laptop and documents, one for personal items. Stretch Darlington® mesh from Yoo Sung Korea® holds charging cables, a notebook and a wallet in place instead of letting them sink to the bottom. Two side pockets take a water bottle or a folding umbrella, reachable without opening the main compartment.
The main fabric is Polyester Diamond 600D ripstop with PU coating, which stops tears from spreading and holds the shape when the pack is full. The lining is Polyester Oxford ripstop 200D PU. Zippers and pulls are YKK®, the buckle is Woojin®, and the back and shoulder strap padding comes from Yoo Sung Vina®. Yes. A 16-inch MacBook Pro measures 35.57 × 24.81 cm (14 × 9.8 in) according to Apple's spec page. It slides into the laptop sleeve upright and sits fully inside, with room left in the main compartment for documents.
Does a 15-inch or 15.6-inch laptop fit?
Yes. The laptop sleeve is 31 cm (12.2 in) wide and 41.5 cm (16.3 in) tall and takes 14, 15.6 and 16 inch laptops. The laptop goes in upright, long edge along the height of the pack. A 15.6-inch ASUS Vivobook (35.97 × 23.25 cm / 14.2 × 9.2 in) and a 14-inch MacBook Pro (31.26 × 22.12 cm / 12.3 × 8.7 in), per the makers' spec pages, both fit inside.
How is the fleece lining different from ordinary foam padding?
