The Yuzi Ultralight YZ15 Pro is an ultralight water-resistant daypack with a 15 L capacity and a weight of about 450 g (1 lb). It is built for people who want to move light: short treks, day hikes, cycling or travel with minimal gear.
Unlike framed designs, the YZ15 Pro has no rigid back panel. The body is soft and follows the curve of the back. That keeps the center of gravity close to the body, so the pack sways less on climbs or on the bike and saves energy over long distances. The trade-off: it does not hold its shape when lightly packed, unlike the AirFlex YZ12.
Compared with the standard Ultralight YZ15, the YZ15 Pro upgrades the materials: a Polyester Diamond Ripstop 150D body with PU coating and DWR, a Polyester 420D base and, most importantly, water-resistant YKK® zippers. The zipper line is where water most often gets into a backpack, so the upgraded zippers make a clear difference to overall water resistance.
The Ultralight line strips out the extras and keeps only what matters outdoors. There is a 15 L main compartment, a small top pocket for a phone and wallet, a front pocket (an addition over the standard version), two side pockets for water bottles and a hydration sleeve with a clip. The pack has a sternum strap, hip belt and a front trekking pole attachment. It fits torso lengths of 40–52 cm (15.7–20.5 in) and waists of 70–120 cm (27.6–47.2 in).

How does the YZ15 Pro differ from the standard Ultralight YZ15?
The Pro upgrades to Diamond Ripstop 150D fabric with PU and DWR, a 420D base and water-resistant YKK® zippers, and adds a front pocket. The standard version uses PU-coated ripstop polyester and regular YKK zippers.
Are there downsides to the soft back?
The pack does not hold its shape when lightly loaded. In return, it hugs the back and sways less on climbs or on the bike. For a pack that keeps its shape, choose the Yuzi AirFlex YZ12.
How much weight can it carry?
The recommended load is 6 kg (13.2 lb), enough for day-hike gear plus a spare layer.
Does it come with a hydration bladder?
No. The hydration sleeve has a built-in clip and is compatible with the Yuzi Fresh 2L hydration bladder.
What body size does it fit?
